Jeremy Morton and Jack Luber partnered with hospitality veteran Charles Seich of critically-acclaimed Ferris in NYC to create a casual and cool restaurant and bar inspired by sustainable seafood. The team tapped chef Sam Talbot, who first put The Surf Lodge on the map, to head the kitchen.

Morty’s Oyster Bar’s menu includes fresh oysters brought in daily, littleneck clams, shrimp cocktail, steamed mussels, fried clams, lobster roll, hanger steak with roasted mushroom chimichurri, and fried chicken with spicy honey. Cyril’s legendary BBC (Bailey’s Banana Colada) holds a special place on the cocktail menu.

Designed by Jack Luber, Morty’s features a classic Hamptons-style decor with brass portholes and amazing French toile wallpaper custom printed with iconic local images of the lighthouse, Ditch Witch, and the radar tower at Camp Hero.  Morty’s is open for lunch and dinner and offers indoor and outdoor seating. It is also available to cater private events. We are so happy to see Cyril’s former location given new life — and from such a talented team!
