One of  Summer 2019’s most successful restaurant openings, Showfish offers sensational seafood in a picturesque setting on the water’s edge at Gurney’s Star Island Resort. The acclaimed executive chef Jeremy Blutstein is a Bourdain-trained Montauk raised legend who was formerly chef at Crow’s Nest and executive chef at Almond. He has created a menu which includes roasted crab tagliatelle with Maine sea urchin butter; tile fish with vinegar-braised leeks, chive blossom, and crab toast; house dry-aged, bone-in tuna rib eye; and seared scallops with duck prosciutto. Most of the ingredients are sourced within a 20-mile radius of Montauk — a lot of it arriving in the kitchen straight from Gurney’s docks. The hotel will offer a shuttle to Star Island from Gurney’s beachside Montauk location and a seaplane and yacht service from Gurney’s Newport. ‪
