There is nothing better than having a fabulous facial in a beautiful spa to let go of all the stresses of the week. We wanted to treat ourselves so we visited the newly renovated Naturopathica Spa & Healing Center in East Hampton. The spa is located just off Route 27 before you enter the town of East Hampton. Bathed in natural light, with earthy tones and tactile textures, you feel a sense of serenity the moment you walk in.

When we arrived, we were greeted with a cup of their delightful Spearmint Gotu Kola Clarifying Tea, setting the tone for a truly immersive experience. Next, we were ushered into a beautiful treatment room and guided through a personalized consultation with a skilled therapist who assessed our skin’s needs. We decided on a HydraFacial—a comprehensive treatment designed to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate using advanced techniques like dermaplaning and LED therapy.

What sets Naturopathica Spa apart is not only the breadth of treatments offered or the expertise of its therapists, but also its commitment to crafting exceptional products. Founded in 1995 by Barbara Close, a visionary with a background in esthetics, massage therapy, aromatherapy, and herbalism, Naturopathica was born out of a quest for clean skincare long before it became a mainstream concern. Drawing on her expertise in plant medicine, Close developed a line of high-performance products that combine natural ingredients with clean cosmeceuticals, working in harmony with the skin to deliver visible, lasting results.

After our facials, our skin felt hydrated, smooth, and never looked better. We also took home some products and the Manuka Honey Whipped Oil is now our go-to moisturizer for both day and night. If you need a little me-time or a relaxing retreat for your houseguests, stop in at the Naturopathica Spa & Healing Center in East Hampton. It is the perfect place to indulge, rejuvenate, and rediscover your essence.
