Joe Isidori, acclaimed Michelin star chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and co-founder and co-creator of popular restaurant franchise Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers, has brought his famous Arthur & Sons to Bridgehampton. The East End outpost of the popular West Village eatery features a rustic vibe, with a 90’s hip hop edge and a menu that transports guests back to the 1990’s with “old school” Italian American red sauce classics. Guests can also dine alfresco in the beautiful garden filled with lemon trees.
Isidori is there almost every night greeting guests and he may even sit down and have a glass of wine with you. He is passionate about the quality of the ingredients sourcing the sweetest tomatoes and the perfect spices for each dish.
Isidori recommends the meatballs with ricotta, fried calamari, baked clams oreganata and sausage & peppers with shaved provolone. One of the highlights is the wonderful array of delicious salads including our personal favorites- the caesar salad. The light lemony dressing and finely grated parmesan cheese melts in your mouth. If you are visiting for the first time, the spicy rigatoni alla vodka is a must, the generous portions of chicken parm is perfectly cooked, and you can’t go wrong with the spaghetti. But, save room for desserts because the spumoni is not to be beat.
“The Hamptons has always been a second home for me. I spent many of my early years of my career working in the Hamptons. I have always had a true love and passion for all things out east, so it’s nice to bring a piece of my personal heritage to the community for all to experience,” shares Isidori.
The Arthur & Sons wine list features a crafted selection from producers such as Brunello di Montalcino and Sassicaia Tenuta San Guido as well as classic Italian wines including Sartori, Giovanni Rosso and Vermentino di Sardegna. The cocktail menu showcases elevated twists on favorites such as the espresso martini, limoncello spritz and Johnny Lum’s Mai Tai.
