The Hamptons has always understood a particular kind of French summer, easy and sun-warmed with a little glamour. On Thursday evening, June 18th, Maison Close Southampton brought that spirit to the table with an intimate dinner celebrating its summer collaboration with the luxury French resortwear brand Vilebrequin.

Held at the restaurant’s Southampton location at The Capri, the evening welcomed a select group of VIP guests, media, tastemakers, and friends of both brands for an evening of dining, conversation, and a first look at the collaboration. Throughout the night, Maison Close’s team debuted the custom uniforms, giving guests the chance to experience the partnership firsthand.

The collaboration draws from Vilebrequin’s Summer 2026 collection and its artistic capsule with renowned French artist Fabrice Hyber, whose work meets at the crossroads of art, science, and nature. His whimsical “Pescador” print runs through the Maison Close uniforms and accessories, including a neckerchief and a bucket hat, pieces that capture both the playful sophistication of Vilebrequin and the refined, fun atmosphere of Maison Close Southampton. Guests inspired by the collaboration can find pieces featuring the Pescador print at Vilebrequin’s East Hampton boutique and on Vilebrequin.com.

The look is built on a palette of crisp whites, ocean blues, and vibrant accents pulled from Hyber’s artwork. Lightweight fabrics and tailored silhouettes keep everything comfortable and elegant through service, while Maison Close branding sits alongside subtle Vilebrequin design signatures. The result feels both timeless and contemporary, a seamless dialogue between two French brands.

The pairing runs deeper than aesthetics. Maison Close brings its signature Parisian dining experience to the East End through a coastal lens inspired by the glamour and energy of Saint-Tropez. Vilebrequin, founded in Saint-Tropez and with a boutique in East Hampton, brings its own spirit of summer, color, and craftsmanship to the restaurant’s front-of-house experience.

“At Maison Close, we believe every detail contributes to the guest experience, including what our team wears,” said Theliau Probst and Thibaut Castet, owners of Maison Close. “Partnering with Vilebrequin allowed us to bring a sense of summer elegance into our Southampton location in a way that feels authentic to both brands. The uniforms are sophisticated, playful, and perfectly capture the energy we want guests to experience when they walk through our doors.”

“Partnering with Maison Close feels like a natural fit for Vilebrequin, as both brands celebrate the distinct luxury of French culture from its beachwear to its cuisine,” said Roland Herlory, Vilebrequin CEO. “We’re looking forward to highlighting our capsule collection created with famous French artist, Fabrice Hyber on the restaurant staff in such an unparalleled and elevated atmosphere as Maison Close in their brand new Southampton location.”

The dinner marked the official launch of the collaboration and Maison Close Southampton’s inaugural season, bringing together hospitality, fashion, and culture in a setting that captures the energy of summer in the Hamptons. More than a uniform collaboration, it is an extension of the Maison Close Southampton experience, where cuisine, design, fashion, and culture converge. It is proof that great design belongs not only on the runway, but at every table.
