You may know November for Election Day, Veteran’s Day, and of course Thanksgiving, but I’m here to add another holiday-worthy celebration to your list: Long Island Restaurant Week. From November 6th to 13th, get ready to indulge in as many seasonally curated pre-fixe menus as possible. Here’s our list of some of the best restaurants that have joined the party out East this season!

CALISSA

Wanting to go to Greece and haven’t found the time (or the budget) to buy your ticket? No worries, simply drive on over to Calissa, “the Mykonos of the Hamptons.” Who needs actual views of the Aegean Sea anyway when you can choose from fresh dishes like lobster risotto and stuffed calamari? Plus, with the largest selection of rosé the Hamptons has to offer, you know this place is the real party.

TOPPING ROSE HOUSE

Jean-Georges’ Topping Rose House is known for a reason. I mean it’s Jean-Georges, what more do you need to know? If for some reason you haven’t been yet, restaurant week is definitely the time to go. Although everything on the menu is amazing, do yourself a favor and order the pumpkin sundae — a mini roasted pumpkin with caramel toasted meringue and spiced pecans. On second thought, maybe order two.

Husband and wife team, Chris Boudouris and Sofia Crokos, have created something special at Elaia Estiatorio. They have managed to blend tradition and their Greek heritage with some of their Brooklyn flair to bring you delicious dishes and a wonderful atmosphere! Stop by so you can see for yourself and join their family as you learn to “kiss like a Greek, dance like a Greek,” and of course, “eat like a Greek!” In addition to Restaurant Week, Elaia Estiatorio’s seasonal offerings include a new Opa Happy Hour, Tuesday-Sunday from 5-6:30 pm at the bar, and nightly dinner specials, including a hearty Kouneli Stifado. In addition, Elaia will be offering an Intimate Wine Dinner of 4 courses paired with carefully curated Greek wines (on 12.07; now accepting reservations.) and hosting live music performances from New York’s premier DJs on select weekends.

PAGE AT 63 MAIN

Page at 63 Main is as classic as Sag Harbor itself — literally. The foundation of the restaurant was built in part from the same limestone and granite that was used to construct Main Street.  Although the restaurant itself may be ancient, thankfully the chefs have come up with refrigeration and a few other tricks to bring you delicious New-American cuisine. Whether you’re visiting town or a permanent resident, stop by to be part of Sag Harbor history, while also enjoying some amazing, more modern, cuisine.

Terry Harwood and Lisa Murphy have not only partnered together to bring you Cole Hollow Tavern, but are partners for life. Their love for eachother comes out in the food as you bite into comfort dishes like Sea Salt & Butter Toast and Steak Frites. Stop by with your own family and friends for a good time, or really so you can share food and try as many dishes as possible.
