Montauk is about to get a new kind of summer energy. This Memorial Day Weekend, LDV Hospitality will debut Barlume Beach, a hotel and beach club set along Montauk Harbor that channels the spirit of the Mediterranean with a distinctly East End edge.
Located at 435 East Lake Drive, Barlume Beach introduces a full lifestyle destination built around food, music, design, and connection. The concept builds on the momentum of LDV’s presence out east, following its Scarpetta residency at Gurney’s Montauk Resort and the reopening of The Maidstone in East Hampton. With this launch, the brand deepens its footprint in the Hamptons and stakes a clear claim on Montauk’s evolving social scene.

At its core, Barlume Beach is designed as a place you settle into for the day and stay through the night. The property features 19 rooms set across 40,000 square feet of waterfront grounds, along with 19 marina slips. The detail encapsulate the idea of relaxed coastal living, with interiors by Studio Tre that pull from Mediterranean influences. Think turquoise tones that mirror the water, warm golden hues at sunset, and layered textures like cork floors, custom oak furniture, and sailcloth finishes. Rooms open to marina or garden views and are finished with Parachute linens and Ortigia Sicilia bath products.

“Barlume Beach represents the next chapter for LDV Hospitality. We’ve spent years perfecting the art of the ‘La Dolce Vita’ dining experience, and now we are bringing that same soul to a full-scale beach club. We’ve layered in elements that speak to all the senses—from the chef-led culinary stations to a nightly musical residency that adds a sophisticated pulse to the hotel and beach club. It’s an evolution of everything we love about summer, bottled into one landmark destination.” said John Meadow, Founder & President of LDV Hospitality.

Food anchors the experience. The restaurant offers all-day dining led by Chef Francesco Battisti, with a Mediterranean-inspired menu that shifts as the day unfolds. Lunch leans into fresh, coastal flavors. As afternoon moves into evening, the signature “linner” sets the tone with music and a rising sense of energy. By night, the space takes on a more electric feel.
Expect returning favorites from Barlume’s Flatiron location, including Blue Crab Toast and Lobster Arrabbiata, alongside new seasonal dishes like Lobster Roll, Spicy Fin de Cleire, and Plateau de Mer. Cocktails follow the same approach. Seasonal, local ingredients. Clean, thoughtful execution. Every seat, from the bar to the firepit, faces the water.
Music plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere. Throughout the season, Barlume Beach will host select musical artists, with programming from 8pm Friday through Sunday and from 3pm on weekends.
The experience extends beyond the property. Guests can book boat charters on Lake Montauk or join wellness classes offered throughout the summer. The goal is balance. High energy when you want it. Quiet moments when you need them.
