Under brilliant blue skies, this year’s showcase — The Bridge IX — returned to the storied grounds of the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit for an extraordinary weekend honoring rare automotive icons and cutting-edge design. Now in its ninth year, the celebration transformed the fairways of The Bridge Golf Club, presenting more than 300 of the world’s most remarkable and seldom-seen vehicles.

In 1980, Robert Rubin discovered the legendary Bridgehampton Race Circuit just as plans were underway to replace it with a sprawling housing development. Determined to preserve its history, he purchased the property in 1981 and kept the track alive for more than a decade before transforming it into The Bridge Golf Club, a private 7,300-yard Rees Jones–designed course overlooking Shelter Island and Sag Harbor. In 2016, Rubin partnered with Shamin Abas and Jeffrey Einhorn to debut The Bridge, an invitation-only automotive gathering that has since become one of the most exclusive car events in the world.

Making its debut at The Bridge IX as presenting sponsor, Mercedes-Maybach captivated guests with a sophisticated display. The highly anticipated Mercedes-Maybach SL — the brand’s first open-top roadster — drew considerable attention, flanked by the GLS 600 SUV and the elegant S 680 Sedan. A lineup of classic Maybach models traced the marque’s design evolution, while test drives from Topping Rose House offered guests an exclusive experience.

Another standout moment came from Volvo, marking its 70th U.S. anniversary with a thoughtfully curated exhibition. Guests admired vintage icons such as the P1900 Convertible and the Amazon, displayed alongside the sleek, all-electric EX90. A visually striking installation of reimagined retro advertisements underscored Volvo’s enduring legacy and progressive design ethos.

The Bridge IX brought together a carefully chosen mix of returning favorites and fresh innovators across the worlds of automotive, aviation, design, and lifestyle. Luminari Motor Company, Gunther Werks, FariCars, Expedition Motor Company, Roche Bobois, Morgan Motor Company, and Arcade Cars contributed to the dyevent. Guests also gravitated toward Pivotal’s Helix eVTOL aircraft and a beautifully restored 1969 Boston Whaler Eastport 17 from Barton & Gray, while Merrill, a Bank of America Company, returned with its refined on-site lounge.
