Jack Della Femina is not new to the Hamptons. His grandfather, Jerry Della Femina owned a legendary restaurant in East Hampton for 20 years called Della Femina (now East Hampton Grill). Over summer 2020’s Fourth of July weekend, Jack launched his own eatery called Bravo Toast, a summer pop-up at Cynthia Rowley’s wonderful Montauk store located steps from the beach at 696 Montauk Highway. Bravo Toast’s signature dish is the sensational Green Goddess Avocado Toast made with pesto and burrata. The stand will also be serving Sylvester Co. Coffee and Arnold Palmers. During July and August, the owners may add additional toasts such as a ricotta toast topped with Hamptons’ fruits.
The young entrepreneur started the businesses because he saw a need in the market. “If you ask 10 people their favorite avocado toast, you’ll get 10 different answers. Once you try our toast, there will be no debate! Our product is vegetarian and made with local ingredients. We are NOT a coffee shop, we’re an avocado toast shop with damn good coffee!” he said.
Jack is a third-generation restauranteur. His father, Michael Della Femina, owns Croft Alley, a spectacular and popular restaurant group with multiple locations in Los Angeles. Jack founded Bravo Toast with Nathan Katz and Dom Nora — three friends he met in high school and graduated from USC with this past May. The trio opened a Bravo Toast location in West Hollywood, CA in the fall of 2020.
