On a recent trip to the French Riviera, we visited the Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez’s rooftop lounge bar Les Toits. This bar and restaurant is so special because it is Saint-Tropez’s only rooftop restaurant with and it panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
We were lucky enough to be travelling there on a Thursday evening when the hotel’s poolside terrace becomes the setting for their La Vie en Rose dinner from 7 to 10 pm. A guest DJ takes over the terrace a creates a fun and vibrant atmosphere where you can enjoy the sunset but still have a conversation with your friends. You can sit on couches and eat at cocktail tables or have a more formal dinner on the deck where our table was set for 2 while another table was set for 16.
To top it all off, Les Toits has a delicious menu. We started with the Pizza Tartufata which is a truffle pizza of layered mushrooms, truffle shavings, and arugula and a glass of champagne. Next, we order the The Half-Cooked Mediterranean Red Tuna paired with an incredible vegetable tartare and a hint of lemon, as well as the seared John Dory Fillet with artichoke chips.
From the gorgeous sunset to the DJ sets and exquisite cuisine, La Vie en Rose at Les Toits is an experience that defines the magic of Saint-Tropez! The restaurant is open through October and then will reopen again next spring. It is one of those rare gems you don’t want to miss.
